Our spring camp at Golden Ears Provincial Park is on coming up! We will be there from Friday, May 31 – Sunday, June 2.
We sleep in tents, cook on camp stoves, check out the trails, do crafts and whatever else the Pathfinders are interested in doing.
Here is what you need to know.
- We will be camping in Golden Ears Provincial Park at the Alouette Campground, sites A37 & A38
- Drop off will be at the campsite on Friday, May 31 at 7:00pm.
- Pick up will be at the campsite on Sunday, June 2 at noon.
- If you aren’t able to drive to the campsite without being registered, we will station a Guider at the ticket booth to Alouette Campground.
- Cell reception in the park can be a bit spotty, so please download instructions before leaving Vancouver.
- We will have mug up on Friday night but not dinner. Please eat before you come.
- We may ask some Pathfinders to transport some of the group camp gear to camp as there will be limited space in the Guider car.
- Cost is $40
Please sign and return the SG2 form to Amanda by Wednesday, May 22.
To get ready for camp we have a planning session scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 to work through the menu and activities. Then on Wednesday, May 29 we will practice our camp skills like putting up tents and using camp stoves.
Looking forward to it!
