February 22 is World Thinking Day – a day to celebrate the global Guiding movement. To mark the occasion, we will be headed downtown to do a walk with a Guide unit. We will be a day early to see the buildings lit up in blue, but we will bring our own lights in the form of the lanterns we made this week. Here are the details:
Drop Off: 6:30pm at 29th Avenue Station. Note there are a few entrances to the station. Please meet at the entrance closest to 29th Ave and Atlin Street (NOT the entrance next to the park). If you can’t find us, text Amanda.
Pick up: 8pm at 29th Avenue Station.
Pathfinders should bring the lantern that we made this week and a Compass Card if they are over the age of 12. Pathfinders should be dressed to be outside for over an hour. This includes hats, gloves, warm socks, warm layers, and raingear if it rains. And if they have a Pathfinder scarf, that should be worn over their jacket.
