DESCRIPTION:The Pathfinders decided they want to go to Casa Gelato to celebrate the end of our Guiding year.  We will meet at Strathcona Park (on Raymur Avenue\, across the street from the Food Bank) at 6:45.  After a short ceremony in the park to celebrate our third-year Pathfinder who is moving up to Rangers\, we will walk up to Casa Gelato for a treat.  Then we will come back to the park to eat our gelato and hang out.  Bring a frisbee or soccer ball if you’d like!

DESCRIPTION:We will be celebrating our last meeting before the Winter Break with a special outing to the Stanley Park Christmas Train! The cost to attend this event will be $6 – yay cookie selling! \nWhat: Stanley Park Christmas Train outing\nWhen: December 10th\, 6:30pm-8:30pm\nDrop off: 6:30pm at Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain Station (south side entrance\, where pick-up was for cookie selling). SUMMARY:Snow Camp Training Session
DESCRIPTION:This training session is mandatory for anyone planning on attending the West Coast Area Snow Camp from January 9th – 11th at Mount Seymour Provincial Park. \nThis training session is for 3rd year Guides\, Pathfinders\, Rangers and Trex to introduce them to Snow Camping and give them the basic skills and knowledge to go snow camping. This training is required for the girls/guiders interested in participating in the upcoming West Coast Area – Snow Series camps. \nTopics will include tents and winter shelters\, fun and fit food for frosty weather and winter water\, comfy cold climate camp clothing and footwear\, snow sleeping systems and Snow Camping First Aid & Care. \nPlease bring your signed SG2 + SG5 forms plus a cheque for $30 made out to the 9th Vancouver Pathfinders to this training session if you would like to attend the Snow Camp in January.
